It’s time to make merry and direct your life to its ultimate goal i.e. Academic Success. 
As a student, it’s true that you must be shouldering the responsibilities of studying, attaining good grades, completing assignments of both school and coaching, and many more. However, you have one more responsibility that you often forget – To take care of yourself! To reach the pinnacle of success, you need to be organised and disciplined towards your life, so that you live free of worries and stress. This blog will give an insight into some of the interesting and effective resolutions that must make this new year. Go through them as under-

  • Stop procrastinating- The number one resolution that you must make is not to procrastinate. More attention must be paid to the crucial assignments and deadlines must be set to finish them on time. To manage procrastination better, you can cut on the television time and minimise the hours you spend on Play Station. With this, you must try to set only realistic goals for yourself.
     
  • Make time for a workout- Well, if you have been overlooking your workout routine then it’s time to make a resolution for it. Note that even a workout for as little as 30 minutes promotes positive brain functioning and leads to a healthy immune system. And you can exercise without hiring a trainer or spend money on joining any fitness sessions. Just go ahead with dancing, hula-hopping, running etc.
     
  • Manage social media- If you are wasting time scrolling Instagram reels or Facebook stories then you better cut it down. Posting a picture from a friend’s party and getting countless comments might tempt you but restrict yourself. Manage your social media time and don’t go beyond it. 
     
  • Ask more questions- If you have been shying to ask questions during the class then change your habit. Make a promise to yourself that you are going to ask whatever doubts and queries you have in the class. Not asking will only lead to your average performance because your doubts continue to remain doubts. Take a step and your teacher will support you!
     
  • Learn new skills- Promise yourself to learn new skills this year. You must broaden your horizon and hold on to habits that will imbibe leadership skills & confidence in you. Whether it is swimming, skating, storytelling, or any other skill that has always been on your mind, learn it.
     
  • Eat better and healthy- Reduce the consumption of chips, chocolates, soda, soft drinks, candies, and everything else that is unhealthy. You must know that high-calorie foods tend to develop compulsive eating habits just like any drug. As a result, such foods drain the body of much-needed nutrition. So, you must make a resolution to avoid such unhealthy foods and include healthier options.

True that making New Year Resolutions is your decision but keep in mind that they can affect you for the decades to come. So, welcome this new year with resolutions that are powerful enough to transform your life. Happy New Year 2022!
